When I step through the portal, I expect to see a majestic kingdom awaiting me, ready to be crowned king. I expected to command an army of Loyal Knights, bringing justice throughout the land. I expected Teddy to become a great knight, ready to risk his life for me no matter what. However, I got none of that.
When I emerged, I was on the edge of a dark forest, probably lurking with terrifying creatures around every corner. I waited for a knight to come riding out of the forest, slaying the evils of the forest to protect me. But he never came. I started walking towards light, and I emerged from the forest, ending up at the edge of a cliff. I could see the entire kingdom before me. Or it would be a kingdom, if the land weren’t completely abandoned. I saw castles off in the distance, yet they were all in ruins, and they looked abandoned and uninhabitable. I thought “Hey, if I were king, I would have stopped whatever ravaged this land.” I looked at teddy, thinking he could help me out of this situation. But all I got were his black button eyes. In fact, they were darker than ever here. I stood there hesitating, then I decided to head back to the portal, as this world was obviously doomed. Then it attacked...
