After struggling against these demonic forces for what seems like forever, I finally break through into the light. After taking a moment to gather my senses, I look around the small lighted area, looking around at these demons surrounding the pillar of light. I then notice the desk, and I go and take a look at it. It has a single feather pen, a stack of paper, rulers, pencils, and a smartphone. Slowly, but surely, I piece things together. I feel that I am supposed to write my own story, and I can fight away the demons of life that way.
First I start with the pencils, recording what I want to do in life, giving me the basic outline of what to strive for. As I write, the demons stop pacing around and shudder. Next, I use the smartphone to research what is available to me in terms of education. The demons flinch as I do this. Then, I use rulers to guide my lines as I start to draw out my future, getting the necessary education in place. As I proceed to this step, some of the demons curled inwards with pain. Then I proceed to continue fleshing out my idea piece by piece, filling in lines and shapes into my future. As I continue to shape my future, demons fall one by one. Then, beyond all odds, the quill pen fills in my future, slaying demons with each stroke of its tip. I have worked towards my future, fighting off demons along the way. However, no matter what I do, there will always be demons in life. But I know that I am not alone, as there will always be others who will support me along the way.
